God Bless the Broken Road

I think Tyler is blessing the broken road that led us to Toronto tonight!  He is ecstatic about getting to meet Jim Riley, drummer for Rascal Flatts.  Jim put on a 2-hour drum clinic for students at Just Drums (where Tyler plays drums).  After the clinic, Jim gave his drum sticks (that he used for the clinic) to Tyler.  He autographed them and spent some time talking to Tyler.  Tyler was thrilled beyond belief.  Jim seemed like a nice guy.  Tyler said that during the two hour clinic, he played several Rascal Flatts songs.  It was a mini-concert with drum lessons mixed in.  Here is a photo of Tyler with Jim.

And because Tyler is such an awesome big brother, he introduced his sister to Jim so she could get her Hannah Montana CD signed.  Rascal Flatts did two songs for the soundtrack and had a cameo in the movie.  Jim said it was the first time he had ever signed the Hannah CD.  He told us the whole back story of getting to play for the movie, how great it was, etc.  Then, he asked Tyler to take a photo of him with Hannah and the CD for posterity, because he wasn't sure if he would ever be asked to sign a Hannah Montana CD again.   It was a crazy night but one to remember.
